As you may have heard, Sky News has won a coveted Bafta television award for News Coverage.

Head of Sky News John Ryley said: "It's the third Bafta we've won. It's yet again confirmation that Sky News is absolutely the first place to come to for breaking news and it's a tremendous tribute to everybody who works at the organisation."

Part of the award-winning entry for the attack on Glasgow Airport last June was the use of viewer video.

We welcome the contribution which viewers make to our output. As I've said before, you are the "eyes and ears" of the newsroom.

Tip-offs on news stories can be emailed to news@sky.com or texted to 84501.

Still pictures and videos (including mobile phone video) can be sent to the same address.

There are also picture galleries on the Your Photos section of the website and other videos can be submitted through SkyCast.

Thank you to everyone who has sent material to us - keep it coming.

Although I enjoyed the exchanges between Diane Abbott and Rachel Johnson on the Adam Boulton programme today,I was somewhat disappointed at Ms Abbott's apparent, smug attitude towards Londoners' intelligence and their democratic right to choose a
new mayor. The good lady went to great lengths to blame the suburban boroughs for behaving selfishly to get rid of Mayor Livingstone. She likened Boris Johnson to Bertie Wooster and seemed to accuse him of being a racist, although she did deny this. She conveniently avoided making mention of the anti-Semetic sentiments of the out-going Mayor and his invitation to London to extremists who would, for instance, wish to annihilate
the state of Israel and stone to death adulterers. Ms Abbott also appears to be quite divisive inasmuch as, in the case of the London mayoral election, she is setting inner and outer boroughs against each other when instead, she ought to be using her priveleged powers to bring people together. If I wished to be unkind to her, I would try my best to employ here the use of the words 'Humbug' and 'Hypocrite' bearing in mind that some time ago, she took her son out of an inner-city school and placed him in a suburban, fee-paying school.
In my opinion, the woman is shameless and should have a television programme made about her.

All in all, the Honourable Member for Hackney North and Stoke Newington seems to have evolved into an ungrateful, whingeing old lady.
